FlowCanary facts
A plain list of what FlowCanary is and does. If something here differs from another page, tell us.
What it is
- Headline: "Built it with AI? We'll make sure it still works."
- Scheduled testing is launching by 30 November 2026. Once it is live, FlowCanary will test the sign-up, login and checkout of AI-built apps in a real browser on a schedule, and give you a plain-English alert plus a fix prompt for Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Replit.
- It is for people who build and ship apps with AI tools. No testing knowledge is needed: you describe flows in plain English.
- It is an early-stage product run from the United Kingdom by Paul Devlin.
- Status: early access. The free checker works today. Scheduled monitoring launches by 30 November 2026.
- Website: flowcanary.app. On X: @FlowCanaryHQ.
The free checker
- At flowcanary.app/check. Free, no sign-up, 3 checks per day.
- It opens your URL once in a real headless Chrome browser and reports the HTTP status, uncaught JavaScript errors, console errors, failed network requests and whether the page rendered blank, with a screenshot and a copy-paste fix prompt.
- It can try one short step, like clicking a button and checking some text appears. It only types into forms if you tick "I own this site".
- It only visits the public URL you give it and does not submit payments. It identifies itself as "FlowCanaryChecker" in its user agent.
